I love travelling out to the Maple Ridge area. For this engagement session, we met at Alouette Lake.

I first met Hannah many years ago when she was probably 7 years old, and I was an assistant dance teacher.

Hannah and I have kept in touch over the last few years on Instagram. After she got engaged, she asked me to be her wedding photographer. At that moment, I felt so blessed and knew things happen for a reason.

I met David for the first time at the engagement session, and he was so sweet and nice. I was excited for Hannah to find someone to love her and take care of her. We also stopped at Spirea Nature Trail in the Golden Ears area, but we couldn’t go in because they were doing construction on the trails. As a plan B, we just used the area outside, and we still got to see the tall trees in the background of the photos, had fun, and danced around.
